Overview
RepriceLab connects to your Amazon Seller account via Amazon's Selling Partner API (SP-API). This is Amazon's official, secure integration layer that allows third-party tools like RepriceLab to read your inventory, monitor competitor prices, and submit price updates on your behalf — all without needing your Seller Central password.
The connection process uses Login with Amazon (LWA) OAuth, which means you authorize RepriceLab through Amazon's own login screen. RepriceLab never sees or stores your Seller Central credentials.
Requirements
Before connecting, make sure you have:
- An active Amazon Professional Seller account
- Access to Seller Central for the marketplace you want to connect
- Your store registered on the marketplace you wish to reprice (e.g., amazon.com, amazon.co.uk)
- A RepriceLab account (Free tier or higher)
Step-by-step connection guide
Step 1 — Navigate to Multi-Channel settings
After logging into RepriceLab, click on Multichannel in the left sidebar. This is where all your Amazon store connections are managed.
Step 2 — Add a new store
Click the "Connect Amazon Store" button. You will be shown a list of supported Amazon marketplaces. Select the region and marketplace your seller account operates on (e.g., North America — amazon.com, Europe — amazon.co.uk).
Step 3 — Authorize via Login with Amazon
You will be redirected to Amazon's authorization page. Sign in with your Seller Central credentials and click Allow to grant RepriceLab the following permissions:
- Read your catalog and inventory data
- Read competitor pricing and Buy Box data
- Submit price and inventory updates
These are the minimum permissions required for repricing to work. RepriceLab cannot access your orders, payments, or bank information.
Step 4 — Return to RepriceLab
After granting permission, Amazon redirects you back to RepriceLab. Your store will appear on the Multichannel page with status "Connected". RepriceLab will immediately begin syncing your product catalog in the background — this typically takes 5–20 minutes depending on catalog size.
Verifying a successful connection
A successful connection shows:
- Store status Active on the Multichannel page
- Products appearing in the Products section within 15–20 minutes
- Buy Box data populating on the Dashboard within 30 minutes
Troubleshooting connection issues
Authorization was denied
If you clicked "Deny" on the Amazon authorization page, the connection will not be established. Return to the Multichannel page and try again, making sure to click Allow on Amazon's screen.
Store shows as "Disconnected"
Amazon OAuth tokens can expire or be revoked. If your store shows as Disconnected, click the Reconnect button next to the store and repeat the authorization flow. This does not affect your historical data.
Products are not syncing
Initial sync can take up to 30 minutes for large catalogs. If products are still missing after an hour, see the Product Sync Problems article for detailed troubleshooting steps.
Wrong marketplace selected
If you connected to the wrong marketplace, you can delete the store from the Multichannel page and reconnect with the correct marketplace. Note: this will remove all associated product and pricing history for that store.
